Concept Artist, EA Sports FC at Electronic Arts

Electronic Arts is hiring a temporary concept artist for EA Sports FC in Vancouver. The main focus is conceptualising player clothing for an in-game vanity system: gathering references and mood boards for garments, shoes and accessories, presenting design roughs, producing detailed final outfit concept art, and giving 3D artists clear visual guides.

The ad asks for a strong interest in fashion, experience designing game characters from rough sketch to fully rendered illustration including turnarounds and material call-outs, the ability to render real-world garments accurately, solid anatomy and figure drawing, knowledge of fabrics and how they drape, and graphic design and typography skills for logos and stylised clothing art. Photoshop is expected; Blender, Maya, Substance Designer, Marmoset and storyboarding experience are pluses.

The role is a temporary employee post on a hybrid work model. The stated British Columbia pay range is CA$92,900 to $129,200, with three weeks' vacation to start, sick days and extended health, dental and vision cover. Role ID 216374. Apply through Indeed.
