About
CONTACT's Open Call Exhibitions programme lets lens-based artists and collectives at any career or hobby level take part in the festival by presenting an exhibition in a venue they have secured themselves anywhere in the Greater Toronto Area. Registered exhibitions are listed in the festival programme and website.
The programme is non-juried: CONTACT does not review submissions. Artists must have confirmed a publicly accessible venue before registering, and the exhibition must fall wholly or partly within May 2027.
Registration for the 31st edition (1–31 May 2027) opened 19 October 2026 and closes 18 January 2027. Registration is free.
