Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art at Museum van Bommel van Dam

Museum van Bommel van Dam in Venlo, a museum of modern and contemporary art with a collection of more than 14,000 works, is looking for a curator of modern and contemporary art for 32 hours a week, starting immediately.

The curator helps shape the museum's artistic direction, develops and realises exhibitions, works with education, participation, communication and fundraising colleagues on concepts and grant applications, writes publications and exhibition texts, and acts as project leader, managing content, planning, budget, artists and lenders.

Applicants need a university degree in art history, exhibition and research experience with strong writing, experience of art handling and international loans, and excellent Dutch and English.
