Duncan of Jordanstone Graduate Intern at Cooper Gallery

Cooper Gallery at the University of Dundee is offering a recent graduate of Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design a paid internship, funded by the college's Centenary Fund. The intern joins the small gallery team for the production and delivery of the 2027 programme, which includes a major solo exhibition, The Ignorant Art School, public events, a monthly digital platform and a symposium, and helps with exhibition introductions, tours and archiving.

The intern is based in the gallery office, mentored by the Director with regular reviews, and managed day to day by the Assistant Curator. The post is open only to DJCAD graduates.

The internship runs for 20 weeks between December 2026 and May 2027, four days a week (Tuesday to Friday) in person, with some evening and Saturday work. It carries a bursary of £11,000 paid in instalments. Interviews are on 30 November 2026.
