About
Vagabond Art Club's inaugural art prize 'Et Soudain' explores astonishment and the ephemeral: the moment of rupture, the instant that surprises, or the sudden intrusion of the unexpected into everyday life. The club aims to reveal emerging artists without distinction of age or experience.
Open to French nationals or artists legally resident in France, with no age limit and no distinction between students, emerging or established artists. One work per artist (collective projects accepted) in painting, sculpture, drawing, photography or installation, with maximum dimensions 55 x 35 x 25 cm and maximum weight 10 kg.
Entry costs €30 (free for members) via CuratorSpace; deadline 15 October 2026 at midnight. Results are announced on 31 October 2026 and the exhibition runs 25-29 November 2026 at Galerie Gratadou, Paris, with press coverage via Détaché de Presse. Sales carry 50% commission with a maximum gallery price of €1,500.
