About

FCA's Emergency Grants programme runs year-round and funds artists living and working anywhere in the US who have either a sudden opportunity to present their work with too little time to seek other funding, or unexpected, unbudgeted expenses on a project that is nearly complete and has committed exhibition or performance dates. Projects may be in the US or abroad.

Grants range from $500 to $3,000; the average is currently about $2,200. FCA receives around 100 applications a month and makes 15 to 20 grants monthly.

Applicants should read the guidelines and FAQs before applying. No application fee is mentioned.
