About
Revoluton Arts in Luton is looking for a freelance exhibition designer to lead the design of Undercurrent: Movement of the People, an outdoor touring exhibition that combines research, photography, sound and artist commissions about migration, activism, music and identity along the River Lea. It tours Luton and London in 2027.
The organisation wants someone with experience of large-scale, mixed-media and outdoor exhibitions who can work with artists, heritage specialists and communities. The contract runs from 4 January to 30 October 2027 and is managed by Revoluton's Senior Heritage Producer.
The budget is £5,700 including any VAT, with applicants asked to propose a day rate and number of days, plus up to £300 travel and £250 materials on receipts. Apply by email with a CV and one-page cover letter (or a short video or audio submission) and up to five portfolio images.
