About
Cockpit, a craft charity that provides studios and business support to more than 180 makers, is hiring a Gallery & Retail Manager to run a new gallery and shop in the City of London. The manager curates exhibitions and retail stock, plans events, workshops and talks, oversees installation, packing, shipping and presentation of work, and leads the gallery team.
Cockpit asks for experience of running a gallery or shop, knowledge of and enthusiasm for craft, design and independent makers, retail and merchandising experience, and some team management. EPOS or gallery software, Photoshop and project management skills are desirable.
