About
Duolingo is offering an Illustrator internship based in Detroit, Michigan, running full time for 12 weeks between May and August. Interns work on illustration projects alone and in small groups, receive training, workshops and lectures from Duolingo artists and are mentored by a Duolingo Studio Artist.
Applicants must be studying for a bachelor's degree in illustration or a related creative subject, graduating in autumn 2027 or spring/summer 2028, have experience with Figma, Photoshop or similar software and be available for the full internship. A portfolio is required.
The hourly rate is $39–$41. The application deadline is 5 November 2026.
