About

The Jentel Artist Residency Program offers one-month residencies to visual artists and writers aged 25 and over who are US citizens or residents. Residents receive accommodation, a studio and a $300 stipend paid weekly towards living costs; there is no charge to attend beyond a $100 reservation deposit.

Two sessions run each year: Winter/Spring (15 January – 7 May, applications 1 February – 15 September) and Summer/Fall (15 May – 7 December, applications 1 October – 15 January). Applications are made on Submittable with a $30 non-refundable fee.

Full-time students are not eligible; post-doctoral fellows are.
