About
Norrtälje municipality is looking for a museum technician to join its ten-person exhibition production unit, which produces about two exhibitions a year at Roslagsmuseet and four to six at Norrtälje Konsthall, plus touring exhibitions and care of ancient monuments around the municipality.
The technician mainly installs and dismantles exhibitions, takes part in sketching and planning their physical design, handles sound and image technology, calculates load-bearing for hanging and mounting, and finds practical solutions with artists, colleagues and local associations. The post is permanent and part time; pay is not stated.
