Nuit Blanche Toronto 2027 – Call for Proposals

Nuit Blanche Toronto invites proposals each year in two streams. Open Call Projects are produced by the City with budgets of up to CAD 20,000 and are open to local, national and international artists and collectives working in any discipline. Independent Projects, for Toronto-based artists and collectives, receive a stipend of up to CAD 1,750 for fees and materials. Artists may apply to both with separate applications.

Proposals need a strong visual-art component rooted in contemporary practice and are assessed on artistic merit, feasibility and relevance to the annual theme.

Applications for Nuit Blanche 2026 closed 9 January 2026 and the City's page says applications are currently closed. The 2027 call has not been announced; recent calls have opened in November with a deadline in December or early January.
