Part-Time Art Handler at Aiston Fine Art Services

Aiston Fine Art Services is hiring experienced art handlers for part-time work as part of a professional crew handling, packing, transporting and installing artwork in its warehouse, on company trucks and at galleries, residences, museums and other client locations. Candidates with enough experience may also be considered as part-time lead art handlers.

Applicants need at least one year of professional art handling experience, knowledge of packing, installation and transport procedures, and the ability to perform the physical requirements of the job. Box truck driving, ELD and DOT knowledge, lead handler experience, condition checking (Articheck preferred) and site survey skills qualify for a higher starting wage.

Work is scheduled around company workload and the employee's availability, typically 8am to 5pm on weekdays; weekend and out-of-state work is occasionally available but not required. The company says the role suits freelance art handlers looking to supplement their schedules.
