Part-Time Art Instructor for Kids and Teens at Pencil Studio

Pencil Studio, a small art studio in Markham, is looking for a part-time instructor to teach drawing and painting to children of different ages, breaking techniques into clear steps and keeping classes lively and encouraging. Over time the role is expected to grow into lesson and camp planning, organising projects and helping run the studio.

The studio wants someone with solid drawing and painting skills, at least a year of teaching, patience with children, reliability and punctuality, and the confidence to run classes alone. A bachelor's degree is preferred. Applicants are asked whether they have a portfolio of traditional-media work.

Work is mainly at weekends, with optional weekday evenings (4-7pm) and more daytime hours during winter, March and summer camps. Pay is C$17.81–C$19 an hour after a trial month. Apply with a CV, portfolio and short note.
