About

GameSim is a game development studio that partners with clients on PC and console games in a range of art styles. It is looking for a Principal Environment Artist to raise the quality, efficiency and consistency of environment art across its projects.

This is a senior individual-contributor role: the artist produces benchmark-quality work, sets practical production standards, solves difficult artistic and technical problems (asset construction, materials, world building, optimisation and engine integration) and guides environment teams through reviews, paintovers and in-engine examples, working with art directors, technical art, design, engineering, clients and partner studios.

The post is permanent and remote within Canada, with a listed salary of CA$120,000–130,000. Applications are handled through Keywords Studios' Workable board.
