About
Novembre à Vitry, founded in 1969, is an international painting prize run by the Galerie municipale Jean-Collet in Vitry-sur-Seine, south of Paris. Entries are judged anonymously from an online dossier. Each applicant proposes one work of up to 200 x 200 cm (three-dimensional works accepted subject to dimensions and weight); only the first 300 applications are considered.
For the 58th edition the call ran from 7 April to 7 May 2026, open to French and foreign artists under 41 at the date of the opening (born after 26 September 1985). Around 20 works are shown in a group exhibition from 26 September to 13 December 2026; exhibiting artists receive EUR 300 and two laureates have their works acquired for EUR 5,500 each, with a later solo exhibition. The call recurs each spring.
