About
Meerpaal, the cultural and community centre in Dronten that includes a theatre, cinema and art studio, is looking for a teacher of three-dimensional art for its Atelier from 1 January 2027, as the current sculpture teacher approaches retirement.
The tutor teaches a group of advanced students once every 14 days; in the alternate weeks students work on independently. Thursday mornings are preferred, and there is scope to explore crossovers with other disciplines.
Applicants need a completed higher professional (hbo) qualification as a visual arts teacher and knowledge of materials such as stone, wood and clay and their tools, plus excellent Dutch. The appointment guarantees 2.5 teaching hours per fortnight with options to expand; the fee is not stated.
