Seamstress at Surrealium, Vaxholm Kastell

Surrealium is an art studio on Vaxholm Kastell near Stockholm that turns ideas and sketches into unique works in fashion, jewellery, art and sculpture. It is looking for a skilled, careful seamstress to help as needed with sample sewing, made-to-measure orders and small collection releases.

The work includes sewing made-to-measure pieces, first samples and small runs from patterns, sketches or reference garments, assembling on industrial machines (linings, hidden seams, zips, buttons, finishing) and discussing construction and fit. It starts with a paid trial day in the studio; after that work can be on site or remote. Pay is a fixed 150 SEK an hour.
