Senior Lecturer in Contemporary Art and Research Curator, Tate Liverpool at Liverpool John Moores University

Liverpool John Moores University's School of Art and Creative Industries is recruiting a researcher and curator for a joint post with Tate Liverpool. Roughly four-fifths of the time is spent at LJMU teaching and researching contemporary art, art history and curating; the rest is an embedded curatorial role helping to shape Tate Liverpool's public programme as the gallery reopens after its redevelopment.

The university wants an established research profile, a strong publication record and recognised expertise in a defined specialism, ideally decolonisation and non-Western art. The post-holder will contribute to research strategy and outputs, bring in external funding and reach audiences through exhibitions, publications and public programmes.

The contract is full time and permanent, with a salary of £48,337–£59,390 a year.
