About
Sony Interactive Entertainment's PlayStation Studios Visual Arts group is hiring a Senior Materials Artist on a six-month contract to create realistic materials and surfaces for AAA game production.
Applicants need a strong recent portfolio showing an artistic approach to real-world surface types, six or more years in AAA game production with at least one shipped title, and a firm grasp of composition, colour theory and the physical properties of real surfaces, along with a good understanding of game development.
The contract is fully remote from anywhere in Canada and is a temporary engagement through Sony's staffing partner Yoh Enterprise Solutions. The listed base pay is CA$46.77–70.14 an hour.
