Senior Museum Registration Officer – Acquisitions and Loans at Chau Chak Wing Museum, University of Sydney

The University of Sydney's Chau Chak Wing Museum, which holds the university's art, antiquities and natural history collections, is hiring a Senior Museum Registration Officer for acquisitions and loans. The post leads documentation and management of complex inward and outward loans, administers acquisitions including Cultural Gifts, keeps collection records accurate and compliant, and supports the safe movement, packing, freight, storage and location control of objects.

The university asks for extensive experience managing museum or gallery collection databases, including advanced EMu skills and data migration, experience overseeing registration, packing and movement of museum objects, sound knowledge of preventive conservation, quarantine and handling, and strong report and procedure writing.
