Senior Registrar at Mariane Ibrahim

Mariane Ibrahim, a contemporary art gallery, is hiring a senior administrative registrar for its Paris space. The role manages and updates the inventories of the gallery and its storage sites and keeps track of works through acquisitions, consignments, loans, exhibitions, sales and returns.

The registrar oversees the documentation attached to artworks, including technical sheets, certificates, condition reports and photographs, coordinates physical stock checks against the databases, and handles the paperwork for consignments, loans and movements with artists, collectors and partners.

The gallery asks for good knowledge of contemporary art registration practice, fluent spoken and written English, and confidence with office tools and artwork-management databases. The post is a permanent contract; salary depends on profile.
