Senior Technical Animator (6-month contract, The Witcher 4) at CD PROJEKT RED

CD PROJEKT RED needs a Senior Technical Animator for its technical animation team on The Witcher 4, on a six-month fixed-term contract covering a team member's absence. The focus is implementing, developing and stabilising character animation systems in Unreal Engine 5's new Unreal Animation Framework (AnimNext).

The animator takes over existing technical animation solutions, adapts them to the new framework and makes them robust, fast and reusable across NPCs, humanoid enemies and monsters, working with animators, designers and programmers. The studio wants extensive hands-on Unreal Engine experience, strong problem-solving and curiosity about how animation systems work under the hood, including reading code when needed.
