Sessional Freelance Sewing Tutor (Paisley) at Sewing2gether All Nations

Sewing2gether All Nations, an award-winning community charity working with refugees and asylum seekers, is adding experienced tutors to its bank of freelance sewing tutors. Tutors help run large sewing-machine workshops of 30 to 40 people, many of them English-language learners, guiding them through a structured video and practical tutorial to complete a pre-cut upcycled project.

The charity asks for strong sewing-machine skills and practical textile knowledge, experience of teaching or supporting community groups, the ability to manage large groups and clear, patient communication. Zero-waste textile design and trauma-aware practice are listed as desirable.
