About
The Sir Kyffin Williams Drawing Prize was founded in 2009 by the Sir Kyffin Williams Trust and Oriel Môn as a tribute to the Llangefni-born painter and the value he placed on drawing. It is held every three years; the 2024 edition drew nearly 200 entrants, about half of whom had work selected.
The 2027 prize is open to artists of all abilities, professional, amateur and student. The overall winner receives £3,000 and there is a £1,000 student prize. Entries are made through the Oriel Môn website.
The deadline is Monday 30 November 2026. The exhibition of selected work runs at Oriel Môn, Llangefni, from 13 March to 11 July 2027.
