About
The Smithsonian Craft Show is an annual juried exhibition and sale of hand-crafted American work in categories including basketry, ceramics, fibre, furniture, glass, jewellery, metal, paper, wood and mixed media. A new panel of experts selects the exhibitors each year, and the show presents Visionary, Delphi and Craft Show awards.
The 2027 show takes place Wednesday 7 to Sunday 11 April 2027 at the National Building Museum, Washington, DC.
The call for 2027 exhibitors closed on 2 September 2026 according to the American Craft Council's listing; the organiser's site no longer shows the call. Recent years' fee has been $50 with a $75 late fee. The call for the 2028 show is expected in summer 2027.
