About
The Waterfowl Festival is a long-running wildlife art and conservation event held each November in Easton on Maryland's Eastern Shore, drawing collectors and visitors to exhibitions across the town. Artists are juried for admission and re-evaluated annually.
Accepted subject matter is all forms of waterfowl and wildlife as well as landscapes, sporting art and maritime subjects. Artists are grouped as painters or all other media (sculptors, carvers, photographers, mixed media). All work on display must be for sale.
Applications for 2027 are open online via ClearEvent until 15 March 2027 with no application fee listed. Accepted artists pay a USD $125 registration fee; commission is 35% on original paintings and framed prints, 50% on unframed prints and 30% for other media.
