Studio Assistant at an unnamed Los Angeles art studio

An internationally active art studio in Los Angeles is hiring a full-time Studio Assistant to work directly with the artist and studio colleagues. The role is described as largely administrative: supporting exhibitions, speaking engagements, publications and studio operations, maintaining studio records, supporting social media and the studio's online presence, and spending a significant amount of time in Adobe InDesign creating and formatting documents, presentations and publication materials.

The studio wants someone with two or more years of studio, gallery or museum experience, advanced InDesign and strong Photoshop skills, an exceptional eye for typography, layout and detail, and the ability to communicate professionally with galleries, museums, collectors and vendors.
