Studio Manager at NIAD Art Center

NIAD Art Center in Richmond, California, is hiring a Studio Manager, the senior facilitation post in its 23rd Street Studio. The studio works with up to 80 artists with intellectual and developmental disabilities, supported by a team of facilitators.

The manager models person-centred facilitation across media, mentors the facilitation team, helps the Studio Director keep the studio safe and well staffed, and links the studio with NIAD's exhibitions and partnerships team so artists can move work towards shows, commissions and sales. The post also shares responsibility for meeting regional centre and state licensing requirements.

NIAD describes it as a good fit for a practising artist with breadth across materials and mentoring experience. Pay is $35–$38 an hour, part time. Apply by email with a CV and a short cover letter.
