About

The Clay Studio's Resident Artist Program supports emerging ceramic artists from the US and abroad with a personal studio of about 185–195 square feet, kiln use, a stocked glaze area, paid teaching, grant-writing and curatorial support, group shows and a solo exhibition after 24 months. Residents may stay up to three years. Housing is not provided and residents must live in the greater Philadelphia area.

Under a Windgate Foundation grant the $200 monthly programme fee has been waived and a $250 monthly fellowship stipend paid; residents cover materials and firing.

Applications for the cohort starting 1 September 2026 closed 13 April 2026, with notification on 15 May 2026. The 2027 deadline has not been posted.
