About
Prince Edward County's Public Art program is starting a multi-year series of works at the entrances to Delhi Park, reflecting the stories of the land and inviting people into the park under the overall theme 'Wanderings'. This first commission is for the Mary Street entrance, and artists in any medium are welcome.
Applicants (individuals or teams) should have experience designing and making public artworks. Artists are notified in February 2027, with contract and design development in spring and installation in summer 2027. The selected artist receives a 50% deposit.
The total budget is C$25,000, including artist fee, assistants, fabrication, materials, insurance, HST, permits, engineering stamp, equipment, travel and installation. Proposals are submitted through the county's online form by 5pm on 15 December 2026.
