About
Naughty Dog, the PlayStation studio behind Uncharted and The Last of Us, which is currently making Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, is looking for an Animation Assistant to support its animation team. The assistant takes routine steps off the animators' plates so they can concentrate on quality.
The work involves preparing scenes and assets for the animation and audio teams and working with animators to make sure standards are met. Naughty Dog asks for some experience with Maya or similar 3D animation software, good organisation and communication, the ability to learn a pipeline quickly, and a reel or work examples with a breakdown of contributions.
This is a temporary engagement through Sony's staffing partner Yoh Enterprise Solutions, hybrid/on site at Naughty Dog's Santa Monica studio, and candidates must be authorised to work in the United States. The listed base pay is US$37.16–46.44 an hour.
