The Barnsdall Junior Arts Center in Barnsdall Art Park, Hollywood, run by the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs, is hiring a part-time Arts Associate. Founded in 1967, the centre's gallery shows art by children and young people and, more recently, by community members and adult artists.

The post requires a bachelor's degree, relevant experience coordinating fine art, public art or cultural programmes, a valid California driver's licence and availability for some evenings and weekends; it involves lifting up to 25 lbs. Pay is $31.32 an hour, with sick days and paid time off but no health benefits. Email a CV, cover letter and City of Los Angeles application form as one PDF by 10 November 2026.
