The winner receives a week-long stay at the hotel with breakfast, access to studio space, £500 of Michael Harding art materials, a £500 travel stipend and a feature interview on the Mall Galleries website and Instagram; ten shortlisted applicants receive a one-year ArtRabbit Artist Plan.
Applications for 2026 opened at noon on 1 July and closed at noon on 31 July 2026 via a free online form requiring a 500-word statement and three images. The winner was announced on 14 August 2026 and takes the residency during a mutually agreed week between 1 September and 31 October 2026. The residency is expected to recur annually for new graduates.
