About
Delfina Foundation is a non-profit residency organisation in Victoria, London, hosting up to eight residents at a time across four three-month seasons per year ('open' or 'thematic'). Places are funded by partners and offered through separate open calls, each restricted to artists based in a specific region (recently Latin America and the Caribbean, India, East/Central/West Africa, USA/Canada new-media artists).
Eligibility varies by call but typically requires living and working in the named region, a contemporary visual art practice, and proficiency in English; artists without previous London residencies are prioritised.
A typical package (e.g. the Latin America & Caribbean call for 5 January – 28 March 2027): return economy flight, airport transfers, visa fee reimbursement, £40/day living allowance, £1,000 materials budget, a London travel pass and a single room at the Foundation, plus a programme of visits, crits and mentoring.
