About
Gasworks in south London hosts up to twenty international residencies a year, each offered through a region-specific open call funded by a partner. The current call, supported by the Upė Foundation, is for an artist at a pivotal stage of their career who is based in Lithuania, Latvia or Estonia.
The residency runs 7 July – 21 September 2027 at Gasworks and is self-led and process-based, with curatorial support and professional networking. Other 2027 calls (Paris/Île-de-France, Caribbean, Italy, East Africa) closed between June and September 2026.
The selected artist receives a fully funded residency with studio space in London and a solo exhibition at Gasworks in July–September 2028, developed with the Upė Foundation Curatorial Fellow. Stipend and accommodation amounts are not itemised on the call page.
