About
SWAIA's Santa Fe Indian Market is an annual juried market of Native American artists held on the Plaza in Santa Fe, New Mexico, accompanied by a juried art competition whose awards culminate in Best of Show (sponsored by Mark Sublette of Medicine Man Gallery). The 105th market is scheduled for 21-22 August 2027.
Artist applications are made online (via EntryThingy in recent years) and SWAIA states that applications are typically accepted December through February; information about the 2027 cycle is to be released in December 2026. Eligibility requires documentation of enrollment in a federally recognised tribe under SWAIA's artist policies.
Fees, booth costs and competition prize amounts are published with each year's application.
