About

Naughty Dog wants a senior Visual Effects Artist who can work with little direction to visualise, create and implement real-time effects that look great and run efficiently on the target platform, working with the rest of the effects team and the wider development team.

The studio asks for artistic and technical skill with sprite-based particles and materials in a game engine, or equivalent VFX experience on broadcast film, TV or commercials, a strong sense of form, colour, timing and composition, and good problem-solving. Python scripting and Houdini experience are listed as bonuses.

This is a temporary engagement through Sony's staffing partner Yoh Enterprise Solutions, hybrid/on site at Naughty Dog's Santa Monica studio, and candidates must be authorised to work in the United States. The listed base pay is US$69.09–86.35 an hour.
